The Eye

Well, here we are back in Florida and the eye Dr. who really gets down to the specific details of his practice.

I had an appointment yesterday. He said the epithelial cells were still trying to rebuild (which is a good thing), but the eye appeared to bevery dry. In fact he said both eyes were dry. He said I should continue with the ASED Eye Drops, (the ones made from my blood), six times a day. He wants me to increase the Refresh PM ointment to 4 times a day, instead of once. He also said I should put Refresh Plus drops in my right eye 4 times a day.

He also suggested I have a liver test done to make sure that the Doxycycline that I have been taking for a long time is not causing any problems. I had that done at the Hospital next door to his office and I will know the results when I see him again.

I am to see him again in 2 weeks and see if there are any changes.

The weather here has been cool, with frost a half dozen nights this month, and several days where it barely made it to 50 degrees. Hopefully it will warm up a little more soon.

We plan on being back in Oregon sometime around the 1st part of May, then be up on Mt. Hood at Timothy Lake by the 8th of May for our Summer Job of 2014.
