The latest is that Dr. Fouraker said today that there is still some infection and some redness in the eye. Where the suture broke the transplanted cornea is not laying down like he would like for it to do. If it doesn't lay down soon, he will have to replace the broken suture with a new one which he doesn't want to do especially while the infection is still present.Other than all of that stuff, it's still improving, just not as quick as we'd like it to. I see the Dr. again on Wed. and Fri.
I also saw the Retina Specialist today that first treated me, and he said, the eye is much improved from the last time he saw me. The retina is doing fine. My next appointment with the Retina people is the 1st of April, the day that we had planned on heading North. Oh well, I guess plans can be changed.
Until Wednesday,
Filbert
