We are at a concert tonight at Orlando Thousand Trails. This is a family of 7 kids who never had a music lesson and have been named Best Bluegrass Band 2 years in a row! GREAT entertainment :)

New cars damaged
Notice the light pole on the right had crashed/fallen onto these new cars....LOTS of damage!
Storm Damage in Kokomo, Indiana
While driving to Kalamazoo Michigan to enjoy an early Thanksgiving with my daughter & her family....I drove through Kokomo Indiana and saw some of the tornado/storm damage in the area. Shopping Centers and local car dealer have windows blown out and billboard signs wiped out. CRAZY how one business was damaged and another next door is fine!

I thought Kentucky is in the South!!!
We are in Campbellsville, KY which is about 2 hours SOUTH of Lexington. Yet, when I left to go to work at a Chiropractor's at 8 this morning it was 26 degrees COLD!!! What's up with that????!!!!??

Halloween Severe Weather Warning Tonight
Due to the Severe weather warning tonight- we haven't had any Trick or Treaters tonight.....several communities in the area are rescheduling Trick or Treat nite for this Friday or Saturday. The winds and rains are bad enough that we decided to bring in our awning AND slide. Some nearby counties have tornado warning. Guess we'll miss out on handing out candy this year- since the rest of this season at Amazon- we'll be working Friday thru Monday from 5pm til 3:30am !!

The Eye
I went to the eye Dr. today and came away with another good report. I could read the E on the 2nd line. The medical aide then put the peephole down and I could see the 2 letters behind the E and I could also vaguely read the next line. That hasn't been possible since I got the infection Feb.
There was a stitch loose, so the Dr. removed the stitch and prescribed an eye drop 4 times a day for 4 days to prevent any infection. Kind of a precautionary move.Tuesday, October 15, 2013

This is where we are working from 5PM to 1AM. Last week it was from 5PM to 10 PM (7 & I/2 hrs). Next week we will be working 10 hours per day (5PM to 3:30AM)

Today we had orientation, and Safety School from 8:30 am to 2:30. Our work schedule this week beginning tomorrow is from 5pm-10 pm. The same Friday. Saturdays we're off. After that, we work 5 pm-3:30 am Sunday, Monday. ..Thursday, Friday.

The EYE
Well here we are at Amazon.com in Campbellsville KY. I saw an eye Dr. in Lexington KY. this morning and he said the eye is continuing to heal, although it is still very fragile. I could see the E on the second line which is an improvement from the last Dr. visit in MI.
I am to continue the same dosage of medication that I have been doing, and unless something changes, I don't need to see him for a month. I didn't make an appointment, since I'm waiting to see what my work schedule is here at Amazon. I'll find that out this coming Monday.Tuesday, October 1, 2013

After 5 days parked at Gettysburg RV Park...which is an active working farm with goats, chickens, pigs, cows & various other farm animals. ..we are headed West towards KY via MD and WV.

Fairy Garden in Sugarcreek, OH.
While walking around downtown Sugarcreek, OH, we came upon a wonderful Fairy Garden !!! Thought you'd like to know that they're alive and well in Sugarcreek, OH ! :)
Cousin Dan Rudler !
While at our cousin reunion at Wall Lake, near Delton, MI, my cousin Julie gave me 2 boxes of Wells family historical pictures and other information. Knowing we would be traveling through PA. where some of the family records indicated there would be relatives from my great grandmother Rudler (My grandfather Wells mother)....I began calling all the Rudlers in PA. Lo and behold! Dan Rudler of Youngstown, PA area returned my call. Today I had the privilege of meeting Dan and his wife Danette and happily handed over all the pictures and family tree info! :) Yea!! Thank you Julie & those who preserved all the data!

After leaving my daughter's family in Kalamazoo, we stopped at my cousin Carol's home and visited with her husband, Mark. What a wonderful warm home! We enjoyed a great bowl of fresh vegetable soup from their garden, & Mark's homemade Kombuchi. GOOD STUFF!
