We are staying at Royal Coachman in Nokomis, FL near where Martie's 2 brothers & 2 sisters live in Venice FL

Keeping with our family typical traditions .....we do multiple celebrations at one time ! While we celebrated our Sibling + Christmas dinner ...we celebrated our brother-in-law Paul's birthday with his own "donut-stacked birthday cake"

Harvey is decorated & ready for Christmas !
We have a 2 ft tree inside Harvey....and 2 Strings of lights .......quite a change from years past when oftentimes our house looked much like something out of National Lampoons Christmas Vacation ! :)

We are currently in Orlando Thousand Trails RV Resort .....Decorated Golf Cart Parade starts at 7 pm....should be interesting and different ! They even judge the golf carts & give out prizes !

Pastor/speaker at church service...with Filbert
I had to take a picture of Pastor Lacey ...he reminded me so much of Phil's dad! He even directed the singing with the same "Flourish " that Abner Coblentz did! Many similar mannerisms besides:)...We miss him dearly (he passed away in 2003)...so it was a nice opportunity to meet someone who reminds us of him.....also a good reminder to create memories with those close to you...TODAY!

Gas Prices in SC
Just stopped for gas before we head out back to Harvey. Columbia, SC prices for unleaded gas is $2.97.....Diesel was $3.76... at these prices ....guess we'll be able to do some more Sightseeing !

Yesterday after visiting a Baptist Church in Ridgeland SC...we traveled South to Hilton Head. Had dinner at Outback in Beauford then "Tootled" around Hilton Head Beach...which is pretty "Upper Crust...hoytie - toytie ". As we were headed home near the end of our explorations ...we saw these cloud formations...

Stayed at Hard Labor Creek State Park...in Rutledge GA. I believe this park is misnamed ........unless having a championship golf course along with a equine campground available is "Hard Labor"!!

Jeff & Nadia's basement ....
This is the "project" Jeff had available for Filbert to work on when we got to their home...the "Before " picture was with good ole Georgia Red Clay piled up behind the concrete blocks....the red dirt in the middle of the floor is the results from digging out the clay. 2 Days & 2 guys digging makes a difference !

Left SC and we were in GA in 4 miles ! We got to our next site about 2pm...and got out and about for a couple of walks before and after dinner..

Fuel Prices
We got unleaded gas for our car for 2.99 per gallon (Could have gotten unleaded for 2.95 but chose not to wait). Got diesel for 3.65 at the same Mobil station we fueled the car up...which was near the freeway ....
