Took a drive in the area....towards Hannibal, MO
On our way to Hannibal, we drove to a scenic view site. Actually, I thought the drive to the site was just as pretty.

Mississippi River
We drove to Clarkville, MO and got a chance to stick our feet in the Mississippi River
Pretty view and pretty day
After settling into our campground at Tievoli Hills Resort....we decided tom explore the locals town of Clarksville, MO. Took a walk along the Mississippi.

The RV resort has a unique viewings platform and shaded area near the swimming pool

They use the dam's floodgates and locks during high water & control flood waters
